How to Improve Parent-Teacher Communication: Tips for Teachers

Do you know the key to having positive relationships with families as a teacher?

If you said open communication, you are absolutely correct!

In my experience, keeping an open line of communication and communicating about all the major events in the classroom has been one of the things that has helped me build relationships with parents and guardians.

Parents mainly want to know how their child is doing in class. However, many parents also want to know about any classroom or school-wide events BEFORE they occur with enough time to prepare.

I mean, we all know what it feels like to get a last minute text or email about an event that is happening minutes later.... it stinks!

Despite parent communication being great for building relationships, making time for it as a teacher can be quite a burden.

Raise your hand if you LOVE brainstorming what to write for a parent letter during your prep time or after school! I know... I hate it too!

That's why I use these editable parent letter templates!

This editable letter template bundle has all the different variety of letters you may need throughout the school year AND it has pre-written information that just needs a little tweaking to match your needs.

That means you will NEVER have to brainstorm for a parent letter again!
